Snowbasin Sports Education Foundation (SSEF non-profit) & Snowbasin Resort have partnered together to offer a pathway for young athletes to take their skiing skills to the next level. Young athletes in these programs receive ski & race instruction with professional coaches in the disciplines of Alpine Ski Racing and Freeride.
The Snowbasin Sports Education Foundation (SSEF) is a non-profit organization who offers Alpine Development Programs ages 5-15, Competitive Ski Racing Programs for skiers ages 8 through 20 & Freeride Programs ages 10 through 18. The Alpine Ski Racing programs follows the US Ski & Snowboard pipeline for athlete development. Athletes compete in US Ski & Snowboard events through national, regional and divisional race developmental series. The Freeride/Big Mountain program competes in IFSA (International’s Freeskiers Association) events. SSEF is a podium member of U.S. Ski and Snowboard.
All of our training programs will adhere to the Alpine Training System advocated by US Ski & Snowboard.
