U19/FIS TEAM (A-TEAM)

Ages 16+

Cost
$7,365

This is our varsity program. Made up of 16-18-year-old high school student athletes and post-graduate racers, this group of athletes are the pinnacle of our program. These men and women work with a team of dedicated coaches employing a unique combination of conditioning and world class gate training. Our goal is to advance each individual’s skiing and racing skills to help build the discipline, drive, and determination for them to succeed in ski racing, or whatever venue they choose beyond. This program covers all aspects of competitive racing, training, and conditioning. The FIS program trains in the afternoon with an early release from their respective schools. (Athletes not academically eligible for early release will train with the U16 team and travel with the FIS team). Preseason dryland training is mandatory for FIS participants. Athletes will compete locally, regionally, and nationally at a level appropriate to their results, including NorAm, FIS, and USSA events.

Skill Development Focus
This program has a consistent winning record of advancing each individual’s skill level. At this level, athletes know their goals. We are here to help them achieve them.

Races
FIS athletes will be encouraged to compete in 20-35 races per winter.

Within the Intermountain Division and the Western Region there are many USSA and FIS racing opportunities for athletes in this group. The individual race schedules will be tailored to fit each athlete. FIS athletes are expected to travel to races as a team and without the accompaniment of a parent/guardian.
