ALL MOUNTAIN FREERIDE TEAM

The All Mountain Freeride Team is offered to athletes who are looking to progress their skills on all aspects of the mountain.  On the All Mountain Freeride Team, athletes will develop or improve on the techniques to ski all upper mountain terrain, tree skiing, mogul skiing, powder skiing, terrain parks and create more air awareness.  This team is a great introduction to big mountain skiing as a whole. Advanced athletes will have the option of moving up to the Competitive Team with the approval of the Freeride Program Director.

For those that have successfully advanced through our Devo+ development program that want to continue to build All Mountain skills while experiencing the thrills of some of the more advanced parts of Snowbasin Resort without competing, this is the place for YOU. For older athletes joining our program for the first time, this All Mountain experience will provide well rounded exposure to technical & off-piste skiing in an age appropriate team setting. The tuition price point for the All Mountain Freeride non-competitive program will be comparable to the Devo/Devo+ tuition and a one day Saturday or Sunday level of commitment.

Generally athletes are graduates of our Devo, Devo+ or All Mountain Ripper Programs with a coach recommendation for our Freeride Program. Any member or non-member may submit a Freeride Skier Ability Questionnaire to request a discussion about an athlete’s freeride team fit with the Freeride Program Director (Adam@snowbasinskiteam.org)

For training purposes, athletes will usually be arranged in groups of approximately 5-7 athletes per coach to facilitate a productive learning environment.  Groups are dynamic but are generally based on skill, speed, and social needs.

All Mountain Freeride is intended to be a stepping stone to the competition freeride team OR a place for athletes to grow in a team environment until they are eligible to transition to a Junior Coach opportunity.
