DEVO+ 

NEW for 2024-25: DEVO+ will be available on Saturday or Sunday.

DEVO+ is designed for athletes graduating from the DEVO program with the recommendation of their coach and focuses on both on & off piste skiing as well more ADVANCED skills development and increased exposure to alpine ski racing and freeride skiing in particular. Athletes will get mileage on more challenging terrain and run exclusive team race courses. DEVO+ is best suited for athletes who want additional training, advanced development or are considering a future transition to the Snowbasin Ski Team All Mountain Rippers, Freeride or Alpine Race Programs. DEVO+ is the ideal second step in the progression towards our more competitive ski series.

To qualify for DEVO+, athletes must be a confident parallel skier on Blue Terrain, have the ability to ride any lift at Snowbasin unassisted, and have the recommendation of their DEVO coach or Program approval via a SkillsQuest Assessment or interview with our DEVO Administrator. 

DEVO+ is a one day program that runs Saturday or Sunday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm and mirrors the same weekends DEVO is in session. DEVO+ is a stand alone program.  Athletes do not have to be registered to the DEVO program to participate in DEVO+.  It is preferable that athletes choose either DEVO OR DEVO+ so that more athletes have the benefit of participating in the DEVO Programs.  

Once an athlete is ready to commit to two or more days of training, the All Mountain Rippers, Alpine or Freeride program should be considered.  DEVO+ athletes can race in up to two DEVO races and have the option of adding a December Holiday Camp, additional Showboat Race Venue training, higher level alpine races and an at home freeride competition.

Athlete Age: 7-15

Dates: Saturday or Sunday for 12 Sessions from December through March. Dates will be announced  in November 2024 and are contingent upon snow and resort opening. Options for a December Holiday Camp and Extra Friday Showboat Race Venue Training are listed below.

Times: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Required Athlete Experience:

  • Snowbasin Ski Team Coach Recommendation or DEVO Program Approval

  • Participants must be confident parallel skiers on Blue Terrain.

  • Be able to manage their own equipment both on and off the hill.

  • Must have the ability to load and unload all chairlifts independently.

Program Includes:

  • 12 Saturday or Sunday Sessions with a Professional Snowbasin Ski Team Coach

  • Snowbasin Ski Team Jacket, t-shirt and beanie

  • DEVO Team Races and Events Hosted at Snowbasin

  • 6 to 1 athlete to coach ratio

  • Skills Quest Assessment at End of Season

A $500 first payment is required at the time of registration to reserve a team spot.  Payment plan options available.  Program cost is non-refundable.  Prices will increase at the end of each month starting in August.  Full tuition is due by Nov 1st.  A 2.85%+ $0.85 processing fee will be automatically charged to all credit card payments or a 1.99% + $0.99 processing fee for all ACH transfers. 

Not included: Resort Lunch. Snowbasin Season Pass.

SSEF athletes receive 20% off the lowest season pass rates.  Youth 5-12 would be $376.66. Teen 13-18 will be $556.84.  Once registered, instructions are provided to purchase your special athlete rate season pass from Snowbasin resort.
